Making goodies all week with the Busch's.
Family/Friend Birthday Party for D a few days before.
Christmas Eve day with the Lund's.
Christmas Eve:: open pjs, ornaments, read 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, leave cookies and milk and a note for Santa.
Christmas morning:: stockings, one birthday gift for Desmund (from Santa), a "Birthday Boy" shirt, open gifts, dinner with Busch's, another birthday gift for D man (from grandma/mom and dad), cake/ice cream birthday evening.
I want him to feel like his birthday is special, since a day of craziness and family and everyone else getting presents. When he's older, we will do something like a half birthday party in June. Just whatever he wants to do when he knows what's going on:) and we make sure all his birthday gifts are wrapped in BIRTHDAY wrapping paper, not CHRISTMAS. He is so spoiled anyway, but I don't want him to feel like he's being overlooked on his special day. The best Christmas gift I ever got!
Fun fact:: D wasn't due til January 9th. When we found out we were prego, we did a due date calculator online and it said our due date was Christmas Day. I never thought it'd actually happen! (Cam jokingly said "if hes born christmas day can we name him Jesus?") Then we went to the OBGYN and she told us January 9th. By like 7 months I knew he was coming early. Everyone was betting Christmas Day. :) I was hoping before Christmas, but Desmund decided. Haha:) I think he wanted presents.
