i suck at blogging!

okay wow. so much has happened since my last post in april...

we have had lots of family fun filled weekends. leo's place, bear world, yellowstone, fishing, a trip to utah, the fourth of july, a trip to dayton, baby shower bbq...... let's just say it has been crazy, but we are trying to do a bunch of fun stuff with des before the babe comes! and let's also say, i am extremely exhausted...

so may 14, we went into rosemark to have our gender ultrasound (not knowing, they kept my due date on oct 5 (thought it was oct 15)...) so we went in to have it "early"... we got into the room, and the tech starts looking around to get profiles and some other good pictures. the babe was being stubborn and wouldn't move. well, there was enough cooperation, that we saw it... yep, IT. another boy. robin was with us and des looked at her and said "did they say it is a sister!?" i said "sorry bud, it's a boy. you're having a brother." can i just say, that was the saddest thing ever... he freaked out and hid behind the chair and cried :,( it made me sad. and yes, i wanted a girl, but i am so happy to be having another little prince. cameron, of course was ecstatic! and he didn't hide it very well... haha so, we welcome Julian Verl Busch (verl after my grandfather who passed away in January...right around the time i got pregnant).

so this pregnancy has been really rough on me. my whole body hurts basically all the time, ive been extremely sick, exhausted beyond belief, limited patience with des.... then i found out at my 25 week appt that i have GD...so i get to count carbs and check my sugars. which has been going ok. it's hard some days. they let me up my carb intake kuz i was starving. since then i have been good. :) i also had a yeast infection and a bacterial infection. the antibiotics made me feel sick again. ive also been dealing with migraines, which have lightened up a bit (thank god!) i feel like there's so much to update and i don't even know where to begin.

i do have to share a hilarious story tho...
i was checking to see if my breast pump worked still... of course desmund was there and asking a million questions. i figured he would see me feed julian and pump milk that i could have this conversation with him now. so i showed him how i would use the pump.
me "babies drink milk from mommy's boobs"
des "that's weird" laughing a little
me "not really. it's like a baby cow drinking from its mom"
des "oh yeah. so when i was a baby i drank from your boobs?"
me "you did for a little while"
des crazy look on his face "well that's awkward!"
i about died laughing. then that night i told cameron the story, and cam tells des "cow boobs are called udders."
oh this kid is getting educated haha!

15 week comparison (tho this was before we knew i am 10 days ahead...)
