Maybe more of a monthly update. I haven't really updated anything, except about Des (of course;)). So March hasn't been too exciting. Cameron kinda wants to stop working and have me work. I don't mind working, but I have to find something in the same pay grade and hours as Cam has now. Plus be able to get health benefits. I would prefer a salon, but the chances of meeting the required criteria aren't high... One thing I'm not sure about is if Cam could be the stay at home daddy. Des is so awful lately that Cam even said that his favorite time tobe around Desmund lately is when he's sleeping...haha. I don't know what we are going to do yet. Plus Cam just got a raise and is up for a BIG raise in June... Anyway. He starts his new quarter of class tomorrow. I think he's excited, but wants a bigger break... I feel bad for him. But I do work hard too. Cooking, cleaning and most of all watching Desmund. I know Cameron knows a little now of what I go through all day and night, but he doesn't know the full extent kuz I'm normally home when he is here with Des too... Haha. Anyway, I finally started making a weekly dinner menu and shopping week by week. Well this will be the 2nd week. I made dinner every night this last week (minus Wednesday night kuz I ate at my cousins house). I don't recall eating out at all this week:) that's a record lol. I made next weeks menu already and went shopping yesterday. I'm making chicken nachos tomorrow and I'm totally excited! Yum:)
Last weeks menu. Monday: twice baked potatoes and Italian chicken. Tuesday: homemade pizza. Wednesday: cousins house. Thursday: tacos. Friday: turkey sausage. Saturday: fried rice and general Tao chicken. Today: I'm not sure yet.
Nxt week. Monday: chicken nachos. Tuesday: hamburger helper. Wednesday: spicy chicken, mashed potatoes. Thursday: taco soup. Friday: leftovers. Saturday: broccoli cheese soup. Sunday: we will probably eat out kuz Grandma Busch is coming over:)
My house is fairly clean. We cleaned the kitchen yesterday. Stove and everything:) I've been vacuuming like every other day kuz Des is so messy lol. I need to deep clean both bathrooms. Desmunds room is sorta clean. Most the clothes are folded. Our room is a disaster. Cam cleaned the laundry room a bit. Cam and Dan have been helping with dishes on the weekend. It's nice to have Hellers. But my house is normally messier during the weekends. Boys are gross and so dirty:/ I woke up to my kitchen and living room messy (besides D's normal mess) lol. Dan is washing dishes as we speak tho. Maybe I made him feel bad...haha. Umm...
Desmund started doing this crazy laugh. When he thinks something is hilarious, he smiles goofy and throws his head back and laugh so hard. He has been "reading" a lot lately. Lol it's so silly. He has a "new" dance where he just swings one arm. He decided he loves milk again and isn't too big a fan of juice. He loves veggies. A few times this last week he ate all his veggies before he ate anything else on his tray. Plus extra helpings of them. He especially loves broccoli. It's so silly. But makes me happy too lol. I know there are some new things he's done but I can't think. Oh he got a new car seat and it was in the living room for a while. He kept climbing in it. He'd get his sippy and climb in and watch tv. Lol. One night he tripped over his pj footie and smashed his face into the seat. His mouth was bleeding so bad. He cut open the inside of his lip. I was freaking. He was fine shortly after tho. He loves giving hugs. I can't remember if I mentioned this. Also sitting on people's laps of they're on the floor. Like when I do crunches he has to come sit on my stomach. It's funny. oh and I know he knows what some words mean now. Sit down, no (tho he tests this one), I can't think of any others off the top of my head. He just doesn't talk yet (but I'm ok with that for now;)) There's this boy who stole my heart. He calls me MOM
Cameron is amazing as ever :) he helped clean up this week. He helped take care of Des last night when I was on my last straw kuz he just wouldn't stop crying:( Cam is such a great dad and husband. I'm super lucky. He's a hard worker and he's done so good this time in school. Just to brag a little, he got a 4.0 is last quarter of school! I'm so proud of him:) He barely missed any school. I think is kuz his classes were
at night. Except one. Lol. That helps. We arent morning people. He's just so amazing! Him and I really need a vacation. I'm hoping we can finally get our honeymoon this summer. Even if it's just a long weekend. I'm ok with that...maybe Vegas. I dunno yet...
Anyway, I always have lots to write, even tho it never seems like much has happened.
