So my goal for reading was to finish thirst and the first Hunger Games book by the time the movie came out, which was last weekend (well 4 days ago). And I'm already on the 3rd one:). I'm seeing the movie this Sunday and I'm so excited! Yay! I'm loving the books. I'm not sure what to read next, I have such a long list! Haha
As for Desmund 's schedule. He's doing pretty good. With a few exceptions. And he's still not sleeping well at night and I'm not sure what to do...he slept really good for grandma this last weekend. Of course..dang kid.
My house is pretty clean. I mean I try to keep it kept up. My room is still messy as always. Lol. And there's another pile of laundry to fold. Blah...
I've been doing really good exercising:) even when I don't do a full out workout I still do crunches. My stomach is my biggest uhm... What's the word? Thing I'm self conscious about. I still have 10ish lbs to lose. I haven't weighed myself recently tho..,
Des has a pretty short attention span when it comes to me reading to him. But we flip thru his books and point out things and I tell him what they are. And he looks thru them himself and pretends to read. It's pretty histarical. What a nut of a boy I have ;) when he's looking on his own, he can look for 30 minutes or so. But he likes doing it on his own. Haha...but I do attempt to read to him. And his book collection keeps growing:) he loves getting new books!
I haven't worked on his scrapbook for a while. Lame. I finally got more paper, so I don't really have an excuse, except D makes it hard to do anything for an extended period of time...
Lastly, learn a new talent. Well. I haven't done much, but I've learned to cook pretty well:) I even made cinnamon rolls. Robins recipe. And they were amazing. And ive been trying to cook new things. :) I sewed a bunny from a sock. My first attempt wasn't bad, but I know I can improve. I'm making one for D for Easter. And then one for each niece. I wasn't sure if nephews would like them... But I'm excited, if I ever get a chance...
Anyway, I think that's it. As far as new years resolutions. I think this is the best I've ever done on them haha!
I can't believe it's almost April! My baby turned 15 months on Sunday and time just goes way too fast. We are going "home" in a few weeks to meet Shelbi. Our niece who will be born any day:) and just chill. Somehow we always go home around mothers day. This is the fourth year in a row actually. Ever since we started dating. Anyway. I need to go to bed. Fun, busy day tomorrow and I will have some ful pictures to post.
Btw. Opinions please. I put more intimate (so to say) stuff on here and not so much on fb. Tho there are tons of pix on there. Is it ok to put a picture of Des with his diaper half off on here or not? You can't see a lot. But it's a funny picture. He took his diaper off on his own. Lol... What you think??
I have a friend who posts pictures of her kids' bums all the time, so I think you're safe. I think it's great that you're keeping on top of your goals and putting it out there.
ReplyDeleteHaha okay thanks. And I'm trying this year to keep my goals. :)
