The Busch Bunch: End of year...

I LOVE the holidays!!!

So, I will have so many pictures to put up after the week is over. I might put up a few a day kuz there will be so many. It's so strange that this is the last week before my baby will be ONE!

We are spending the week in Eastern Idaho. We got here Sunday early morning about 2 am. Des fell asleep right before we got to Grandma's house. Then he only slept til 8 am. Cam and I didn't fall asleep til almost 4 am and I barely slept. I had gotten sick again on Thursday and my head and ears were hurting. But then with the altitude change, it made it worse. My left ear hurt so bad I couldn't sleep. So I was up before 9. :( Luckily Desmund took about a 3 hour nap. I slept about 2 with him. Then we spent Sunday afternoon making Christmas goodies with Grandma, Emily, Josh and Metria. My head was stuffed up all day. And then I got ringing in my ears. So went to the store and got ear drops and sudafed. Drugged myself up on Emergen-C, sudafed and put those drops in my ears. By the end of the night I felt better. Grandma said she'd take care of Des for the night so I went to bed about 10:30 pm. I took some Theraflu to help me sleep haha... I woke up this morning at about 10:30 am! 12 hours of baby free sleep! It was so awesome. I am feeling better today. Still a tiny bit tired, but no more ringing or sore ears, my throat isn't very sore, I think just swollen and my voice is gone. But I prefer that over everything else I was going through yesterday. Robin keeps saying "Please speak up." lol!

Desmund has had so much fun playing in this big area at Grandma's! There's so much room. Grandma didn't really baby proof tho and we are constantly chasing him and telling him "no". But at least I have other people helping me with the mover haha! He loves the tree and we keep moving ornaments further and further up the tree. It's kinda funny.

I am getting excited for D's birthday and Christmas. It will be so fun to watch him open gifts... and play with wrapping paper. We all know that's how it goes! haha!

My friend Samantha's son, Bennett, turns one tomorrow and we are going up to Rexburg for his birthday party. Then Wednesday, we don't have much planned. Thursday is D's party and I think that evening we are celebrating Emily graduating from College. Friday, my oldest niece, Mariah, is getting baptized in Rexburg, so we are going for that. Saturday we are spending the first half of the day with my family. Food, gifts, etc. Then the evening with Cam's family. Dinner, gifts, etc. Sunday morning (I hope Metria doesn't wake us up too early!) we are doing Santa gifts and Christmas dinner. Then we head back...So far it's been an awesome week and I don't want it to end!

I have so many gifts to wrap too! haha..

Oh, so I know it's 6 months after the original goal, but I am 2 lbs away from my pre pregnancy weight (well what I was at at 9 weeks prego)...!!!! I guess having a walker who I chase all day and getting sick and not eating much paid off. I lost almost 15 lbs in just over a month! :) I didn't think it would happen! Now I just have to get my stomach tight again. I have been wearing a belly compressor thing (not sure what the technical name is haha!) I think that has helped. I noticed my pants are fitting looser and my little "muffin top" is going down :) it makes me really happy! And I finished one book-Thirst 2 and am more than half way through the 3rd one. I have to finish that book, the 4th one and the first Hunger Games by March 23 (that's when Hunger Games movie comes out!)

As for my other goals...I don't really remember them all. I might try something new for 2012...write myself a list and put it up somewhere in my house where I will see it every day :)
