With Thanksgiving coming up and November coming to an end, I have a lot of things to be thankful for.
Last night as I was falling asleep I was thinking about life. I can't believe how much I have been thru in the last 6 1/2 years. Not to mention before that. I mean, it seems like someone elses memories. High School. Friends, family, trips, old boys, classes (and all I have forgotten since lol) etc etc etc.
Then after high school, all I did was work and work and work. I barely had a social life and a very super overprotective boyfriend. Ugh!
Then getting married at 19, spending 2 + years of my life with someone I ended up not being completely in love with. Hurting him, and hurting myself in the process. It ending pretty roughly at the age of 21. It seems like another lifetime ago!
Then the people I met after that. The friends I made, the nights I got drunk. Trying to go back to church and not fitting in there. Meeting Cameron and falling head over heels for him. Moving to Utah, then back to Idaho, then Virginia, then back to Idaho all in one year. Starting a new job. Starting school. Meeting new people and making friends. Getting engaged.
Planning a wedding, getting pregnant. Being pregnant. Having a baby-So strange, and I still don't feel like a mom. haha. Going back to school to finish. Working in a salon for a short time. Trying new things, succeeding. Failing.
Crying, Laughing, Loving, Hurting, etc etc etc. This is my past 7 years summed up in short sentences and single words.
Now, I am happy and thankful for all I have. I am so in LOVE with two amazing boys. Cam, my amazing husband who makes being at home with Des possible. He is an amazing dad and husband and I love him more and more everyday! Desmund who keeps me on my toes constantly. He's amazing and so smart. Learning so much everyday. He is so funny! They both keep me laughing! :)
I am so thankful for my parents. A mom and dad who have been through hell and endured much. My siblings who love me no matter how I choose to live my life. And who are some of my best friends. My Mother In Law who I love so much. She is the best. She has been there for us so much. My father in law who love his son and grandson so much. My siblings in law who have welcomed me into their family.
I have lots to be thankful for ...
And I am really excited for THANKSGIVING! Yummy food and me and my boys hanging out! :D
