I can't believe it's November

I haven't updated for a while. Life is pretty crazy. And not at the same time. Tis the life of a Mom huh?

We had a lot of visitors in Oct. Dan, Terry, Haylee and Dusty, and Robin and Metria. When Grandma was here we went to the park and walked around. It was fun and so nice outside! Here are a few pictures of that....

So Desmund still isn't sleeping through the night. In fact, the other night he fell asleep before 11pm, which is not really usual. But I was excited and he even let me lie him down. Less than an hour later he woke up and was up til 3 am, crying! Crying if we held him, rocked him, didn't want a bottle, didn't want to be put down, so really we had no choice but to put him in his crib and let him cry. He cried for a long time and I fell asleep before he stopped, so I am not even sure when he fell asleep. He woke up a few hours later and laid with me. We slept til 1pm. Anyway, we have let him cry it out for the past 4 nights. About 90 minutes the first 3 nights, and 45 last night. So I am hoping it gets better. But we will see...It sucks hearing him cry, but on the plus side, I finally finished my book (I started reading it last December before Desmund was born). And last night I did my nails. It still makes me sad tho. I just hope it works! and eventually, no crying. But last night when I laid him down, he started crying instantly. That was the really hard part for me. But we shut the door, turn on his turtle star light and put on music. Anyway, I just hope it's not all for nothing...

So he took his first steps a few weeks ago and is so determined to walk! Luckily, he doesn't get mad when he falls. Just laughs. But he has been walking back and forth between the couch and chair a lot tonight! I hope to get it recorded one of these days! He's gonna be running soon!!!

We had his first Halloween yesterday. It was so fun! Took him to get pictures and we did a little trick or treating in the mall. Saturday, we also went to Boo In The Zoo with my friend Daryn and her daughter Rachel. It was fun! And the weather was so amazing! And we carved pumpkins..

I can't believe Des will be ONE NEXT MONTH! It's so freaking crazy! I am getting excited finally tho. Just stressed about money and buying presents. Cam has Des covered, but I still have Cam to shop for and some family. ANYWAY...I am also throwing a bridal shower (open house) for my little sister who's getting married in January! ALSO crazy! and my best friend is having a baby girl in Feb and I am throwing her baby shower! I can't believe it! So many babies and people getting married! I love being home with Desmund, but I don't like not having my own money. It's hard. But Cam is great!


I can't believe it's been 3 years since Cam and I started talking! And this Christmas will be our 4th one together...the first one wasn't really "together" ...but, we hung out haha... So nuts!!!!! I love that boy so much! BTW, anyone have any ideas for gifts for him? He's so hard to shop for!
