I am kind of emotional this week, as the one who made me mom turns 5 (in just 5 short days!) We celebrated this little boy on the 19th. Super hero party at Leo's Place. He had the best day, and of course he got spoiled!
Desmund is crazy, kind, hyper, loud, messy, loving, a great big brother, annoying, frustrating, whiney, hilarious... and all mine!
He loves all things boy! He likes taking things apart to see how they work. He loves super heros and wrestling. He is a YouTube fanatic and wants to have his own Channel (we are working on it!) He says the funniest things and I wish 8 had them all recorded. The way he said them. He likes to pretend. That he's a transformer (he transforms to a kitty, a baby and desmund) He likes to make his toys talk to each other. He thinks he knows what the dogs, cat and Julian says. And he "interprets" for us. He is loving. He is compassionate. He feels bad for others when they are struggling, or hurt. He always tells daddy he's the best daddy or that he's handsome. He always tells mama she's beautiful (bootiful) He always tells Julian he loves him and that he's the cutest baby. He makes me crazy and makes me wanna scream and pull my hair out. But he is mine. He made me mom. He made Cameron dad. And even tho we tease him about wanting to trade him for a new kid or dog, our life wouldn't be the same without him. We couldn't imagine life without him. He loves his cousins and his aunts and uncles and his grandparents. He has the biggest heart. He has a great imagination. He finds joy in the little things. He is spoiled and kind of a brat. But he is amazing. He is smart. He learns every day. He loves school. He loves his friends. He amazes me every day. I have loved him since the day I found out I was pregnant with him.
This kid. I hope he keeps his wonder and his love of learning.
