The Busch Bunch: Mother, Hair Stylist and FALL!!! (oh AND picture overload!

So I LOVE my job! I've missed doing hair very much and it's great to make people feel great about themselves!:)

Well, I have a regular schedule at work now. Desmund started daycare a week and a half ago. I cried after I dropped him off on the first day. Haha...That same day I went to work and a lady came in who just got diagnosed with breast cancer. We had a bunch of "Fight Like a Girl" stuff. She about made me bawl. She had long gorgeous hair and said she wanted to do something with it before she loses it all. I basically spent half my shift with her. She was incredible. She wants me to shave her head for her before her hair falls out. Anyway, she looked awesome when I was done. She spent a lot of money and tipped me well:) and I agreed to shave her head when she's ready. She said she will bring wine and we can drink and cry... Haha

Cameron started his HP job which seems great so far! He seems to really like it. Much better than Wells Fargo he says. They're a little unorganized, which seems to be his only complaint.

(Ps anyone know where I can get good health coverage for Des that won't cost an arm and a leg?)

Des did pretty well at day care. He's not very social with kids his own age. I think he likes more one on one time with a kid rather than a group. But I don't really know, kuz I am not there and I only drop him off and Cam picks him up. Cam said the first day he picked him up, they were outside and Des was off playing by himself. Also that morning, when I dropped him off, he was totally FLIRTING with one of his teachers. It was so cute:) He actually napped for them the 3 days last week. He really has not been napping lately. So that's good!

So, after his first day of preschool, he was sick ALL last weekend :( it was so sad. He started feeling better, just the runny nose and after cough. But then Saturday he started rubbing his ear and crying. It was such a long day, and the night was even longer. He cried most the night. Sunday, he napped for 2 hours and it was early enough that he was out quick last night and slept SO well! Tonight, he fell asleep in less than 10 minutes. Guess that's a plus of usually no naps and we went to the park today and he ran for like 30 minutes. He's so funny. He can go on the slide all by himself now!

New Desmund-isms...

He says "whereditgo?" all ran together like that and puts his hands up. It is seriously the funniest thing ever!

He started saying "what's that" but hasn't said it in the past few days....

He loves giving and getting kisses from the dogs. It's gross, but cute and funny....

When he is ready to go to bed, he goes and gives daddy kisses and says "night." and something that sounds like "love you". we know what he's saying, even if someone else doesn't understand....

He is still sleeping in my bed...of course. But he's doing much better at nights....

He was starting to eat better, but then he got sick....

He still loves cucumbers, cheese (string cheese esp if he can pull it himself:)), spaghetti, broccoli, corn, and you know cool ranch doritos, crackers, fruit snacks, etc....

He likes to man handle Hurley. It's pretty hilarious....

Cam taught him this thing in August, that if when one of us is holding him and he pats our chest, then we will walk forward or backward towards something he wants. It all started with grandma's light switches, and now he does it basically any time I pick him up and half the time I have no clue what he wants. It could be anything from the freezer door to the dinner menu so he can draw on it.

He is obsessed with pens and markers. He is quite the artist, and unfortunately, it doesn't stay on the paper too often. He colors himself, mom, dad, the coffee table, etc....

He has to have everything kissed, even if it's not hurt. Like if he gets something on his foot or finger, he needs a kiss. Yesterday he woke up from his nap, shoved his finger between my lips and made the kiss sound himself. What a kid...

He is obsessed with plugging things in. Not necessarily into outlets, but like headphones into his "new" iTouch. Yes, he has one. It was free and it keeps him entertained and he barely wants my iPad anymore, so it's a win win:)....

I feel like there's so much more to update. I have been so awful with updating this and his journal lately!....

He is even more clingy to me since I started working (not to mention he's been sick)....BUt I don't mind. We have had lots of cuddle time and mommy son dates. And it's been great for Daddy and Des to have some more one on one time. And I really do love my job! :)....
