So, August was a Pretty eventful month for us. Cam's birthday, our anniversary and mine and D's adventure to Dayton and Preston. Also, Cameron got a few job offers, and ended up with a new job!:) he starts September 17. He quits Wells Fargo this coming Friday and has a week off before the new Job. One full week of no class, no school and just some family time:) I'm excited!

Well, last Wednesday, out of nowhere, Desmund puked his guts out. All over me, all over the couch and floor also. It was awful. So I bathed him and got him ready for bed. Washed some blankets and clothes, etc. then less than an hour later, he did it again. He didn't fall asleep til about 11pm then puked again at 1am and 4am. It was awful. He's NEVER been sick like that. He couldn't even keep down gatorade. Poor kid. The next day, he puked again at noon and again about 8:30pm when we were getting ready for bed. I had no clue what was going on! Then the next day, he made it all day. Til 8pm again. He didn't eat much and I stopped letting him have milk til I knew he could keep it down... Well Saturday he finally made it all day:) hooray! I could tell he was feeling better because he was "begging" for food haha! Thank goodness. It was like a 48 hour bug...the longest 48 hours and he's still having a rough time at night-I think that's mostly allergies. Poor bubba.

He's doing better at night (for the most). He goes to bed by 9. He wakes up before 9 e next morning. I've been letting him wake up on his own. In like 2 weeks he's only slept past 9 once, maybe twice. So it's getting better. We walk and go to the park about 5 mornings a week. It helps our day go better. And I thought it'd help with nap time. But nope, it's 3 now and he shows no signs of sleeping... So we are just watching tangled. It's the first time in a while that we've watched it. He's been obsessed with the Lorax lately haha. He's in a fun (and emotional and naughty) stage. He copycats us all the time. He's tying to mimic words and sounds. He barks like a dog. Yells at the dogs ("NO" and points at them:)) he's still not eating much. But has an appetite sometimes, more in the evening tho. He's not into breakfast really. Pickles are his food choice. And the last couple days he's been loving cucumbers. He also ate some grapes, bananas and strawberries today! He's obsessed with noses, so a couple weeks ago I started saying "honk" or "meep" when he squeezes my nose haha. He thinks its so funny. Well yesterday, he was playing with both mine and daddy's noses. So I started "honking" his nose too. Then he started doing it to himself and id say "honk!" when he did it. Then he started say "meeeee meeeee" when he squeezed his own nose. It was so funny. Well later in the car I made a sound to Cameron that apparently sounded like "beep" kuz a second later Des is beeping his own nose. Omg I was cracking up! I tried to record it later, but he wasn't having it. He was plugging headphones into Cams phone instead. Hha. A little preoccupied. It's funny. He says "hi" and "bye" and waves at everyone now. He still loves giving kisses. He's just a little lover;) it's pretty cute!
Some new things he says "eeya" (see ya) "uhoo" (love you) "diit" (did it). And he always sounds like he repeats stuff he says. This one was funny (and not so funny): I said to him "you have a stinky ass" and he looks at me and said "ass". I'm all did you really just say that!? Haha. Guess I need to work on that! He also throws SCREAMING fits. At home, in public, when we leave the park...omg. One thing I can't stand! It's that. ESP in public. People probably think I'm kidnapping him from the park:/

As for me, I'm just living the dream. Cleaning up puke, picking up toys, cleaning, doing laundry and dishes, cooking, shopping (groceries, not "fun" shopping haha), trying my darnedest to keep my boys happy, play dates, walking, chasing Des, reading (at night, I love by 9 bedtime, kuz then I get some quiet mommy time!), growing my hair out, fb, blog and instagram stalking, watching movies, tv, taking pictures, playing my games (words with friends, hanging with friends, song pop and matching with friends)...yep that sums up my life in a paragraph. Haha. I'm gonna start reading and doing flash cards with Desmund EVERYDAY! I feel like maybe he's a little behind on the talking part of life, but maybe not...
