Desmund Paul Busch came on Christmas day at 11:53 AM. He weighed 7 lbs 4.5 oz and was 18 3/4 in long. He is pretty perfect! I went into labor around 1am on Christmas morning and we went to the hospital about 4 am. Contractions are so awful! Definitely the worst part of being in labor. Once I got the epidural, I was great. I even managed to sleep for a bit. I only pushed for an hour and ten min and the little man was here :D He was the first Christmas baby at St Alphonsus Regional Medical Centers. We were on the news and we got a BUNCH of free stuff. We came home the afternoon of the 26th. He is doing well. Feeding well--usually. and Sleeping good at night. He just likes being held rather than sleeping in his bed. He is so strong and daddy says he's an over achiever kuz he can lift his own head already and he's only 4 days old! He is trying to roll too. I love being a mommy and Cameron is so super cute with him. He is loving being a daddy and is so natural at it. I love it. Everytime I close my eyes I see my baby haha.. He is lots of fun. We have had family here since Christmas Eve and even tho the house has been crowded, it has been nice not having to do much besides feeding and holding baby. And I am enjoying being able to take my time showering haha! Anyway, here are some pictures of the little man and family..
